Callejoneadas

Known for its folklore and colors, the “Callejoneada” is basically a walk through the cobblestone streets of our charming city led by students, bands, or mariachi.

It can be organized the day before a wedding or during the way to the wedding party or at the end of the celebration. Traditionally, besides the music, two masquerades will walk with the bride and groom. They are giant puppets made of paper that resemble the newly married and are created by local artisans. It’s a local tradition that is worth trying.
